Speed Racer Racing To Wii, DS, PS2
Warner Bros. Interactive has confirmed to IGN.com that a Speed Racer video game will launch around the same time the movie will premiere. The Wii and DS version will be available in 2008 when the movie comes out, while the Playstation 2 version will be ported in time for the DVD release.
The Speed Racer movie is being made by the Wachowski Brothers. Other movie works by the duo include,

- The Matrix (1999)
- The Matrix Reloaded (2003)
- The Matrix Revolutions (2003)
- The Animatrix (2003)
- V for Vendetta (2006)
The Wachowski Brothers will be a part of the video game, along with the special effects master John Gaeta, to keep the game in comparison with the movie. The film’s producer comments, “Larry and Andy [Wachowski Brothers] are videogame fans themselves, so they believe that an interactive game is a key component to the entire Speed Racer experience.”
