Wii Firmware Update: 3.?
Not too long ago, well only a week ago, Nintendo released a firmware update for the Wii console. A few minor
problems arose after applying the update. Some gamers were unable to connect online on certain channels when using the Opera browser. Gamers also experienced some locking up when trying to reset from the internet channel or from the Home menu.
So when you fire up your Wii, expect a little message from Nintendo,
“A new update for your Wii console is available!
This update will prevent your Wii from locking up, which can occur when using the Internet Channel if you press RESET on either your Wii console or within the HOME Menu. This update also corrects some Internet connection stability issues when using the Wii LAN Adapter from Nintendo.
Please press the Update button on the bottom-right to update your Wii console.”
