2K Games Announces More Features For NHL 2K8
2K Games, sports publishing label of Take Two Interactive Software, Inc., has announced there will be added features to their sports title, NHL 2K8. These new features include Superstar Moves of well known greats of the NHL and all-new goal tending techniques and moves.

“Complementing our new ProStick⢠feature, which gives users precision stick control, Superstar Moves bring an added layer of depth to the gameplay in NHL 2K8 by allowing gamers to execute some of the most legendary moves performed by actual NHL players,” said Graeme Bayless, President of Kush Games, a 2K Sports studio.
With the help of NHL great, Igor Larinov, 2K Sports was able to capture movements to enhance the gameplay and add skill and excitement through 12 unique combo moves. Not all players will benefit from the Superstar Moves. Use of this new feature will depend of each individual player skill level.
Another NHL star, goalie Marty Turco, gave his help toward improving the goal tending gameplay. These improvements include significant enhancements to goalie logic and decision making. Hundreds of new animations add to the experience, giving realistic reactions such as challenging outside the box, guarding the posts, and the favorite butterfly save.
NHL 2k8 is set to release in September 2007 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Playstation 2.
