Xbox 360s To Get New Names?
A Belgian source to Gamernode is reporting a future renaming of the premium and core models of the Xbox 360. A picture shows the three models side-by-side with comparisons, and new names. It appears that the premium model will be renamed “Pro”, and the core model will now be called “Arcade”.
Slogans for the three models read:
Elite: Go Big
Pro: Go Pro
Arcade: Just Play
The “Pro” model will get a new silver finish, with the Elite keeping its sleek black, and the “Arcade” sporting the original gray. The “Arcade” will ship with an optional 256MB memory card, and will include 5 free arcade games.
If you look closely at the picture above, you will notice some jagged lines around the Xbox consoles, and a tacky looking Arcade label. Could this be a photoshop? I’m tempted to call BS on this one. We will have to wait and see if any more news comes about.
