Jeanne d’Arc Heading To U.S. On PSP
The epic fantasy tale, Jeanne d’Arc, is being released to the U.S. market exclusively on the PlayStation Portable. Jeanne d’Arc is a RPG set in 15th Century France and is based on the tale of Joan of Arc. The title had much success in the Japan market when it was released in 2006, and will bring brilliantly detailed environments, a unique team-based attack system, and an immersive storyline with more than 40 hours of gameplay to U.S. consumers.

The story follows a young crusader named Jeanne during the Hundred Year’s War between France and England. With the power of a mysterious armlet, and commanded by voices from beyond, Jeanne struggles to fight back demonic creatures entering the human world, and to push back the invading English army.
Jeanne d’Arc will feature 40 expansive environment, 14 highly customizable playable characters, and 150 different skills and abilities associated with a specific weapon class. Gameplay is a turn-based combat system with strategic team based strategies, allowing the player to control up to 7 characters at a time.
