40GB PS3 Details; $100 Price Drop on 80GB
Sony has officially announced its plans to release the 40GB PlayStation 3 in North American starting November 2, 2007. The new 40GB PS3 model will come bundled with the blockbuster movie Spider-Man 3 Blu-ray Disc™ (BD) from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, and will be available in North America for a suggested retail price of $399 (USD/CND). SCEA has also revealed a $100 price drop on the 80GB model effective immediately.
