40GB PS3 Getting $40 Price Drop

According to a Blockbuster memo leaked to Kotaku, the 40GB Playstation 3 will be getting a permanent $40 price drop on September 28, 2008.

It’s not a $100 price drop, but hey, it’s better than nothing right?
