Apparently the Xbox 360 has a mind of its own, and enjoys blogging about its daily activities. Just take it from bsimer’s experience, who has accounted for some very strange blog entries from his Xbox 360. For example… Read more…

K-mart employee Nathaniel Gustafon was busted for stealing goods in the amount of $7,218 USD. What started out as a few soda thefts, soon led to much more expensive items. Gustafon’s uncontrollable thievery progressed to DVDs, videogames, a camcorder, and gaming hardware.
Gustafon managed to get away with stealing the goods by stuffing smaller items into large boxed goods that were legitimately purchased in order to elude suspicions. He was soon caught by K-mart security after getting a little too greedy. When attempting to smuggle an Xbox 360 hard drive, two Xbox 360 HD-DVD players, and two PlayStation 3s packed into a microwave box, the exit alarm sounded.

After the firing of Jeff Gertsmann from Gamespot for his negative review of Kane & Lynch, Frank Provo will be leaving Gamespot for disagreeing with CNet management. Frank Provo has been a contributer to Gamespot for 8 years.
“I feel sorry for the GameSpot staff that have to continue to work there because they have no choice if they want to be able to pay bills and feed their families. For such upstanding people, the CNet overloads have created the ultimate soul-crushing work environment,” says Provo.

Check out Brett Martin’s epic Nintendo collection!
Neowin.net has informed the gaming community that the popular gaming site, Kotaku, one I visit and reference, has stolen pictures from a blogger and cropped them for their news stories.
It is typically a common practice for bloggers to borrow pictures when writing blog posts, but Kotaku has left out any reference to the origins of the pictures used in their two posts. A site as large as Kotaku, which receives enormous traffic, should know to source all original contents that are copyrighted by another website, no matter how large or small that site is.

Last night was the premiere of the 2007 Video Game Awards on Spike TV, hosted by Samuel L. Jackson at the Mandalay Bay Events Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. If you were lucky you would have received a nice eye-full of practically naked women, they award “cards” were naked models with body paint, not sure how they got away with that on television. If you didn’t get to see the entire show the follow is a list of winners.

This guy spent several weeks looking for Guitar Hero III: Lengend of Rock for his 15 year-old kid, only to find him smoking pot in his backyard.
Excerpt from auction:
“So I spent who knows how many hours of my life trying to get “Guitar Hero 3” for the Nintendo Wii for my 15 year old son who has been begging for it since he was born (well not really but he’s wanted it for awhile). So after waiting in lines and going into every game store in the city over the last 2 weeks (practically being laughed at when I asked for guitar hero 3) I finally got lucky and got one at EB Games (they just got a shipment of them 25 minutes before I walked in!).”

Kane & Lynch has been getting a lot of press attention lately, but not for the good reasons. Former Gamespot editor, Jeff Gertsmann, was rumored to be fired due to his negative review of Kane & Lynch, which was not in Gamespot’s best interest due to massive ads for the game appearing on the site.
