Bioshock Movie in The Works
2K Games and Universal Studios are teaming up to produce a movie of the hit game Bioshock. Gore Verbinski, director of the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, is slated to direct and produce the BioShock movie. John Logan, Academy Award-nominated writer of Gladiator, The Aviator and Sweeney Todd, is in talks to do the screenplay.

4.11% GTAIV Impressions
I finally got my hands on Grand Theft Auto IV after waiting anxiously for it to arrive in the mail. I have been a huge GTA fan since GTAIII, and with each version afterwards I have always picked it up on the first day, and proceeded to take a week off of whatever I was doing. Unfortunately, I had to have GTAIV delivered to me, regardless it is now in my possession. After only completing 4.11% of the game, I am amazed at the details that went into this game. Read on for a rundown of my impressions during the short time I have had to play, it may contain spoilers.

GTA IV Xbox 360 Content To Be Huge
If you are still deciding what version of Grand Theft Auto IV to buy at the end of April, a recent quote from CVG Magazine might help you decide. As most gamers know, Microsoft struck a deal with Rockstar Games to provide exclusive downloadable content for the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV. As the following passage suggests, Rockstar will be providing entire cities to download!

GTAIV Achievements Leaked - Listed Here
A poster at the GameSpot Forums managed to capture some screenshots showing the achievements for the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto IV. The newest game in the series is set to release at the end of April, I can’t wait! Here is this list of achievements:

Dark Sector Goes Gold
D3Publisher of America, Inc. has announced the release date of Dark Sector and has confirmed its gold status. The third-person shooter will ship to stores in North America on March 25, 2008 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
“Dark Sector fans have been waiting for this moment and we’re pleased to say that after months of tweaking and polishing, the game is ready to entertain and wow gamers,” said Peter Andrew, vice president of product development, D3PA. “Digital Extremes has poured their heart and soul into this game and it shows through compelling gameplay and absolutely stunning graphics.”

COD4 Numero Uno In Units Sold In 2007
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, developed by Infinity Ward, has claimed #1 in units sold during the 2007 calendar year, according to The NPD Group, Chart Track and The GFK Group. That includes 7 million units sold worldwide since its launch in November.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has been given more than 18 perfect score reviews and over 40 combined Editors’ Choice and Game of the Year awards in the U.S. alone. The game has been nominated for 10 prestigious Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences awards, including Game of the Year. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare also currently is the #1 Xbox 360 title on Xbox Live, based on unique users, according to majornelson.com.

GTA IV Releases April 2008
Rockstar Games today announced the release date for Grand Theft Auto IV. The action packed third-person shooter we release in stores worldwide on April 29, 2008. GTA IV will be available for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
“We are so excited to be releasing Grand Theft Auto IV,” said Sam Houser, Founder and Executive Producer of Rockstar Games. “We’ve pushed ourselves very hard to make something incredible and hope the game sets a new benchmark for interactive entertainment.”

Rumor: Goldeneye Coming To Xbox LIVE Arcade
If you were ever fortunate enough to play Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64 console, you would have been experiencing one of the greatest video games ever created. Not only was the single player mode awesome, the multiplayer was unbelievably awesome. With N64’s four controllers, having four players at a time made for some serious fun.
