GTAIV: The Lost and Damned Shows Full Frontal Male Nudity

GTAIV The Lost and DamnedWell, there is a reason Grand Theft Auto IV is rated M for mature.  The latest installment of GTAIV is The Lost and Damned, an exclusive add-on for the Xbox 360 version.  Those that have a chance to play the game have discovered quite a surprise in one of the video sequences.  One of the characters is shown strutting around fully naked.  You may think they aren’t actually going to show anything, but in the end of the scene the guy shows his package and all.

DRM Causing Havoc With Gears Of War

Gears of War DRM

The PC version of Gears of War has a very big problem at the moment. The DRM used to protect the game has a certificate that expired on January 28, 2009. This means the game has been shut off and can no longer be played even after uninstalling and installing the game.

GTA V: Tokyo In 2009 Not Happening

Niko BellicThe latest Grand Theft Auto rumor was one involving GTA V: Tokyo. An entirely new GTA game thought to be releasing the end of 2009. The rumor originated from the usually reliable Game Informer magazine, Issue 190.

Game Informer stated, “We’re not talking about new DLC or a collection of previously available DLC, we’re talking about a full retail game,” and gave a thoughtful title, “Tokyo”, sort of like GTAIII spin-offs.

Unfortunately, it is only a rumor. A Rockstar spokesperson told Kotaku that there is no Grand Theft Auto V planned for the year 2009. That really sucks, I hate waiting years for my favorite games to release. That is just how it is though.

Bioshock Could Have 5 Sequels

Bioshock Logo

Global President of 2K, Christoph Hartmann, told MCV in an interview that there may be up to five sequels to Bioshock.  The original was released back in 2007, and later went on to be a popular game despite bundled DRM protection.

Hartmann told MCV that gamers won’t have to wait several years for each sequel to be released, bringing Duke Nukem to mind.  Hartmann also expressed that the company would not cash in on the franchise, leaving it with bad sequels.

Saints Row 2 Does Not Even Compare With GTAIV

I was hesitant about buying Saints Row 2 for the Playstation 3, thinking it was just a wannabe Grand Theft Auto game. And after reading a post on Destructoid claiming Saints Row 2 is so much better than GTAIV, I decided to go pick up the game.

Let’s just say I am a bit mad for wasting $60 on this game. A literally played it for a little over an hour, and it does not even compare to GTAIV. I’m not sure how the author of the above post came up with his conclusions. During the whole time I was playing, I felt like it was a game from Playstation 1. The graphics are no where near as stunning as GTAIV. It lacks the fluid movements of GTAIV, and the sound is horrible. It sounds like a terribly dubbed movie at times.

Fallout 3 Impressions

I’m a newcomer to the Fallout franchise, and decided to pick up Fallout 3 for the Playstation 3.  After watching some videos on IGN, it looked like a game that would last a while and be fun to play.  I used to play Oblivion on the PC, which is created by Bethesda Software, the same company behind Fallout 3.  So I expected Fallout 3 to have some similar game play.

I have played Fallout 3 for about a days worth of game play, probably around 4 or 5 hours.  I called in sick for work just to pick it up and play, a reminiscence to the days I was in college and would skip classes for several days to play a new game.  I have yet to experience much game play, even after playing for so long, so this is just a first impression of the game.
