EA Sees PS3.5 And Xbox 560 In The Future
EA’s chief creative officer, Rich Hilleman, is predicting that Sony and Microsoft will most like concentrate on updated to their current video consoles before re-engineering their current technologies.
“I expected we’ll see a PlayStation 3.5 before we see a PlayStation 4 and an Xbox 560 before we see an Xbox 720,” he said.

Ecstasy Pills Found In GTA IV Game
Apparently a UK man, Richard Thornhill, found ecstasy pills inside the cover of a Grand Theft Auto IV Xbox 360 game after he bought it from Gamestation in Cheltenham, England. The man was distraught after letting his 13 year old son play the game. Gamestation originally told the man to flush the drugs down the toilet.
Thornhill said, “I was going to put it away and I felt a lump on the front cover. Inside the instruction booklet was a ball of Shrinkwrap, or Clingfilm. I thought it was just a ball of clingfilm, but then I realized there were tablets inside. I instantly felt sick. They had Mitsubishi signs on them, which I recalled meant they were ecstasy pills. I wasn’t 100% sure though, so I checked online and sure enough I was right – it was ecstasy.”

GTAIV: The Lost and Damned Shows Full Frontal Male Nudity
Well, there is a reason Grand Theft Auto IV is rated M for mature. The latest installment of GTAIV is The Lost and Damned, an exclusive add-on for the Xbox 360 version. Those that have a chance to play the game have discovered quite a surprise in one of the video sequences. One of the characters is shown strutting around fully naked. You may think they aren’t actually going to show anything, but in the end of the scene the guy shows his package and all.

Grand Theft Auto IV Updates
If you are fortunate to own both an Xbox 360 and a capable PC, or just one of them, you have some GTAIV goodies coming in the next few months.
The first Rockstar Games announcement is the much anticipated downloadable content for the Xbox 360, you know, the stuff that made you buy the Xbox 360 version instead of the PS3 version of GTAIV. The DLC is titled, Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and the Damned, which is the first of two episodes that will release for the Xbox 360.

Sam’s Club Is The Place For Xbox Love
When a fellow gamer was afflicted with the dreaded “red ring of death” with his xbox 360, he was expecting a long awaited return from Microsoft and additional moneys being dished out. But it was then that he was given a sweet surprise from Sam’s Club.
Sam’s Club let him swap out his broken xbox 360 for a brand new one, and the retailer let him keep his old hard drive so that he wouldn’t lose any of his games. And all of this came at no charge. Not only did he not have to pay anything, he was actually given money back when the bundle was priced cheaper than when he bought it.

Microsoft Japan Reduces Xbox 360 Prices By 30 Percent
In an effort to provide an Xbox 360 below the price of a Wii console, Microsoft Japan is dropping the prices of the Xbox 360 as much as 30 percent.
Microsoft will lower the price of the Xbox 360’s Arcade model by 8,000 yen ($73.50) to 19,800 yen, making the device the first among competing consoles to carry a price tag less than 20,000 yen.
Microsoft will also reduce the prices of the two other models by 5,000 yen to 8,000 yen.

Japanese Version of GTAIV Gets a Release Date
Rockstar Games has announced the release date of the Japanese version of Grand Theft Auto IV for the Playstaion 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. Japan will now get their hands on one of the best games this year on October 30th.
Developed by series creator Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto IV was released in North America and Europe on April 29, 2008, selling 3.6 million units on the first day of release, and 6 million units in the first week. Critics from across the globe have showered the game in unanimous praise for its immersive storytelling; culturally eclectic soundtrack; an unparalleled level of detail in Liberty City; and sixteen player multiplayer with more than a dozen online modes for endless replayability.

Check out this Gears of War case mod for the Xbox 360 by dfw monkie. Microsoft needs to start hiring talent like this to sell custom Xbox 360s. I bet they would make a killing off them.

20GB Xbox 360 Gets $50 Price Cut
Microsoft has announced a price cut of $50 on the 20GB version of the Xbox 360 effective today. The cost of the console is now $299. Microsoft also announced a 60GB version to be released sometime in August to replace the 20GB version at the $349 price range.
